Frances O’Hanlon Mortgages & Investments Ltd was established in 2005.
Frances O’Hanlon
Frances O’Hanlon started her banking career in the late 1980’s in London. On returning to Ireland in 1990 she joined Permanent TSB where she continued to work for almost 16 years. She was then transferred to the Clonmel branch in 1993 where she spent almost 13 years, the last seven years of which she was the Business Assistant Manager.
“The Bank gave me a wide and varied experience in Banking & Financial Services and indeed the platform to allow me to continue my education and to progress to opening my own business. Having worked in a large Multi-National Bank in London, I felt at home in the former TSB as at that time we clearly shared the same ethos of genuine customer care.”
Frances set up Frances O’Hanlon Mortgages & Investments Ltd in 2006 and continues to grow the business specialising in expert financial service.
Frances is a keen singer and you will often find her frequenting a traditional and folk session. She is as comfortable threading the stage boards as she is in the area of finance.
Catherine
Catherine has a career in the financial services sector which spans over thirty years between Bank of Ireland and Permanent TSB. During these years, Catherine worked in most sectors within the branches. Her forte was compliance and regulation and was acknowledged as one of the gurus’ in this area.
Catherine has always valued the personal approach to finance even in such an area that was sometimes deemed impersonal such as her previous fortes. Catherine relates to the customer on an individual basis making things easier and is always mindful of best advice.
She is an avid supporter of music and shows, both local and nationally.
Biddy Purcell
Biddy Purcell is from Fethard, Co. Tipperary and studied Irish and French in University College Cork. Following graduation, she went on to work in the Central Securities Department of Allied Irish Bank in Dublin for six years. Here she dealt with Home Mortgages and Commercial Lending. She completed the ECDL and Banking operations cert whilst working there.
Following her six years with AIB, Biddy spent a year working as a fund accountant in Statestreet International in Kilkenny.
Biddy joined Frances O’Hanlon Mortgages & Investments Ltd in August 2007 and is currently studying the QFA.
Biddy’s enjoys going to the gym and the cinema, live music and socialising with friends.
Valerie Allen
Although a native of Killousty, Valerie spent five and half years in Boston with McGowen & Associates Tax Consultants. She worked as Personal Assistant to Mr. Bill McGowen.
On her return, she joined Frances O’Hanlon Mortgages & Investments Ltd where she acts as Frances O’Hanlon’s Personal Assistant.
She enjoys travelling, socializing and going to the gym.
